Project Breakdown
Overview
Summary: This personal challenge involved creating one 3D render every day for 100 days straight. The goal was to rebuild creative discipline, sharpen my technical skills, and grow my visual style — all while sharing the journey publicly on Instagram. Each piece was designed, rendered, and posted within 24 hours.
Inspiration: Inspired by the idea of "quantity breeds quality," I used this challenge to explore different themes and aesthetics — from nostalgic tech and surreal interiors to branded mockups and dreamcore scenes. It was also a way to reconnect with 3D art in a low-pressure, fast-paced format.
my process
All renders were done in Blender, with occasional use of Photoshop for color grading and polish
Focused heavily on lighting, composition, and shader experimentation
Many pieces played with stylization, retro aesthetics, and playful surrealism
Assets ranged from custom modeled objects to reworked library items for speed
Gained over 500+ new followers on Instagram
Landed two freelance opportunities through visibility
Developed stronger instincts for design, color, and creative problem-solving
Built a full collection of portfolio-ready stills — several of which were later featured or expanded into larger projects
